Kids love to send and receive Valentine's cards!
Why not make the card together and have some fun?
I've created 5 easy designs which you can make at home using what you've already got in the house.
BEE MINE- use yellow paint for finger prints and simply add the black pen to give the features and movement.
2. HEARTS STAMPS- Simply using a loo roll tube and squeezing into s heart shape. I used pinks and red and repeated the pattern. This is great activity for toddlers to do, simple and affective. It reminds me of Love Heart sweets, you could even add in text into some of the hearts like "real love" and "for you".
3. LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK- stamping moons using a potato stamp. this would also work well using white paint into black card.
4. YOU MAKE MY HEART FULL OF COLOUR- Here we used marbles dipped into paint to colour in the hearts. Cut out the heart shapes and then we placed them into a cereal box with the side cut off. This creates a tray in which the hearts, marbles and paint can all sit inside. We used a mixture of pinks and reds.
5. I LOVE YOU TO PIECES- print off a heart from the internet, I chose a large one and then stuck it on an A4 piece of paper. Using cut up pieces of tissue paper simply glue into place to decorate the heart. You could use coloured paper or card, whatever you have in the house.
I hope you have fun making cards with your little ones and don't forget we'd love to see your finished creations!!
